QSource provides an ISDN Basic Rate interface capability for a SPARC-based workstation. It consists of software that provides a completeimplementation of layers 1-3 (Q.921 and Q.931) of the ISDN protocolspecification (the software is available in object and source); and ahardware implementation for either an ATBus- or VME-based workstation.QSource supplies an ISDN interface that is compliant with the AT&T #5ESSand Northern Telecom DMS-100 switches. This feature-rich productincludes X.25 on B or D channels, multipoint (passive vus) access,supplementary service, a host-based prototype application, host-basedpowerful intuitive applications interface, and much more.A SPARC host environment is provided to help application developersdevelop an ISDN-based application.
